L Designs to present "Jicarilla Apache Medicinal Plants"

June 14, 2025 — L Designs will be presenting “Jicarilla Apache Medicinal Plants” at the Mora Cultural Event in Mora, New Mexico.

According to Apache oral history, during the era of U.S. government policies of genocide in the 1700s, some Jicarilla Apache children were left with Spanish families in the region. As a result, many families in Mora today have genealogical ties to the Jicarilla Apache, and elements of their culture reflect this heritage.
